Forty-four states, the District of Columbia, American Samoa, Guam, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands offer early in-person voting (this includes states with all-post elections). Additionally, seven states take all-postal service voting. Every eligible voter is sent a ballot that can be returned by mail, or dropped off at a voter eye or like location during the early voting menses.
